Kilbroney Parish Church
In honour of the bicentennial anniversary, I was asked to build a brand identity for the Kilbroney Parish Church of Rostrevor, Northern Ireland.
The challenge was to link 200 years of history with the present. The core values trust, kindness, community and future-orientation where to be considered during the design process.
Challenge

The concept is kept very classic yet modern. A compact guideline has been delivered in a Brand Style Guide to explain how the brand visually works (logo and variation, colours, typography).
The logo consists of a simple line drawing and a friendly modern type. A formal navy blue is used as the primary colour, and is accompanied by bold, engaging colours inspired by the local nature.
Along with the visual identity a key visual was to be created that was being used during the 200th year. Additionally, an Irish version of the key visual was delivered. Goodies that have been made in cooperation with the church: badge, tote bag, calendar, umbrella, dinner ticket, several banners and flyers.
During the Bicentennial year the book “Celebrating 200 years of Saint Bronach’s, Kilbroney Parish Church, Rostrevor” by Shelagh Roberts and Pauline Coffey was published. The church approached me once more, to document the book launch photographically.
